Your child means the world to us . . . that is why we will take exceptional care of His most precious gifts of life when they are under our supervision here at your church home. This ministry is as important to us as it is to you. We thank you for sharing your children with us while you are gathered here to worship.
Sunday Services
Our Nursery and Childcare staff has been screened and are paid professionals to ensure the best care for your little ones during worship services and childcare events.
Noah’s Ark Room
For newborns and infants up to walking age to play and grow as a child of the Lord. We meet in the Noah’s Ark room in the Education wing. Available beginning at 7:55 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
Jonah’s Whale Room
For toddlers from walking age to 18 months old to play and sing songs for the Lord. We meet in the Jonah’s Whale room in the Education wing. Available beginning at 8:55 a.m. until the end of services at 12:15 p.m.
The Angel Room
For toddlers ages 18 months to 2 years to play, laugh and learn about the Lord. We meet in The Angel Room in the Education Wing. Available beginning at 8:55 a.m. until the end of services at 12:15 p.m.
Pagers
For the safety of your child we have a pager system in each room of the nursery. These pagers are equipped to flash and vibrate, notifying parents if they are needed to return to attend to any special needs of their child.
Nursery
Your child does not need to be “enrolled” in the nursery for them to join us. In the Education hallway, find the nursery room appropriate to your child’s age, designated by the signs next to the door.
Soundproofed Cry Room
If you are in the service with your child and he or she is crying, you may either take them to the nursery or take them outside the Sanctuary doors to the Parent’s Room (across from the Prayer Chapel) off the foyer. In the Parent’s Room, you may keep them with you and continue listening to the worship service.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School classes are for children ages 2 and older. Classes for these children are held during the 9:05, 10:10 and 11:15 a.m. services.
Weekday Childcare
Woods Chapel Church also offers childcare (by reservation) for many of the church’s activities that take place during the week. Childcare will be provided with two caregivers to fulfill Safe Sanctuary policies for children ages three up through 5th grade. Participants in classes, meetings, rehearsals and other events during the week, either daytime or evening, should contact the leader/teacher or Nursery Coordinator to determine if childcare for that activity/class has been authorized.
To request childcare, a parent or guardian must complete the details of the childcare form seven days before the date of childcare needed. To request childcare for an event, click here.
