At 10:00 AM, we have our Traditional Service in our Sanctuary. In this service, music is led by a choir or director, and hymns are mostly sung. At 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, we have services in our Worship Center, which is a modern-style service with a praise band leading worship. The same sermon is preached in both venues.

Come comfortable and casual. Come expecting pastors and staff to do the same. If you like to dress up, you can dress up. Woods Chapel is about seeking a real relationship with God and with one another. What we wear is secondary.

WC Kids programming for ages from birth through 5th grade is offered during each service. Students 6th-8th grade meet at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings, and all students 6th-12th grade meet for Youth Group from 5:00-6:30 PM on Sunday evenings. Our mission statement is to connect people to Jesus Christ by building a movement where all are included, accepted, and loved. Communion is a time in worship when we celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection by sharing bread and juice together. This meal is the same meal Jesus shared with the disciples before his death. We believe that everyone is welcome to share in this meal. We typically practice communion as a congregation on the first Sunday of the month.

The United Methodist Church believes in Infant Baptism. We believe it is a beautiful illustration of the grace God freely gives us when we were created in God’s image. We do offer adult baptisms in the form of pour-over, sprinkle, or immersion as well for those who did not have the opportunity or chose to not be baptized as an infant. The United Methodist Church believes in a single baptism. However, we do offer opportunities to remember your baptism or reaffirm your baptism through sprinkling or immersion. We have a lake baptism event every summer, but you can also speak to a pastor or Growth Track Coach if you have more questions about what this might look like for you.
