Nicaragua

Over the last 10 years, our church has partnered with the Rainbow Network to break the cycle of poverty in rural Nicaragua.

What are we doing in Nicaragua?

In 2013, we met the families living in the village of Los Pinos, Nicaragua. The community did not have clean water, and most children had intestinal parasites as a result of drinking and bathing in the same creek as the animals. Children did not continue their education past 6th grade but instead began working in the fields to earn money for their families.

We began partnering with the Rainbow Network to empower the people in Los Pinos in the areas of health care, education, economic development, and housing. We have seen change, but we hope to continue to impact lives in this community and the surrounding area.

Los Pinos has moved on to financial independence, and we are now excited to invest in the people and community of El Chile.

We have resumed bi-annual trips to Nicaragua to meet the people we were sponsoring and help build houses. During each of our trips, we will spend time with families and bring back updates to share with others.

How can I help?

Sponsor the Community

We partner with the Rainbow Network to empower the people in El Chile in the areas of health care, education, economic development, and housing.

Our annual sponsorship of $20,000 enables the Rainbow Network to continue its work. This seems like a large commitment, but your generosity is literally changing a community in rural Nicaragua.
