Last year you donated 3945 food items and $1,621 in monetary donations for the Lee's Summit and Raytown pantries. Let's beat that number this year!
We would love to get to 4300 items this year and $2500 in monetary donations. We can do this!

The WC Students are taking charge of the Tackle Hunger Food Drive this year! This means we have lots of serving opportunities for the students and their parents. We’ll need help gathering and organizing donations each Sunday morning!

Our WC Students and WC Kids are working with Something to Eat to make a bigger impact for hunger in 2026! Join us on February 28 for a city-wide meal packing event to supply area pantries with thousands of shelf-stable meals.
We will meet at 9:00 AM at the SMB then serve at the food packing event. Pick up at the SMB at 1:30 PM.
This city-wide meal-packing event will be a large, unified effort to fight food insecurity in Kansas City. In one weekend, we’ll pack thousands of meals for our neighbors, living out Jesus' call to serve in Matthew 25, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me...."
This event is about more than just one day - it's about growing our compassion to serve others as a way of life.

The Logos Retreat is our annual event for students in 6-12th grades! This year's retreat is November 21-23 at Three Trails Camp on Highway 40 and Lee's Summit Road.
Awesome worship, teaching, games, and small group discussion, PLUS the chance to get away from home and hang out with friends.
Check-in starts at 7 PM on Friday, 11/21, at the camp! Pick up is AT CAMP on Sunday, 11/23. (No Youth Group that night).
The fee of $125 goes towards 2 overnights in heated cabins, 4 meals, a crewneck sweatshirt, and supplies. Registration ends Monday, November 17th.

We will be volunteering at Coldwater of Lee’s Summit on Saturday, November 8. We have a limited number of spots so be sure to sign up ASAP. Meet AT Coldwater of Lee’s Summit (838 SW Blue Parkway Lee's Summit, MO 64063).
Students, if you’re driving be sure to park in the back of the building! We’ll be done at 2:15 PM. Be sure to pack a lunch & we will bring a cooler to store them in for you!
