Guest Services

Studies have shown that it only takes three minutes for a person to decide if they like a church and more importantly if a church likes them. If you are interested in serving on our Guest Services Team, there are a number of ways to do just that! Contact Emily Scott if you have any questions.

 
 

  • Serve at the Front Desk during the week! Greet guests, answer phone calls and assist the staff with special projects.

  • Help us, welcome guests, at Woods Chapel during special events which take place at times other than Sunday mornings.

  • Be the first person to welcome guests. If you would like to be out in the lot representing your church directing traffic, we would love to have you on this team! Can also include driving the shuttles for special events and services.

  • Be the person serving up morning cheer! Serve in the coffee bar on Sunday mornings by providing coffee, donuts, and other treats along with serving up great hospitality. We are looking for volunteers that can serve during the 9:15 and 10:30 services. 

  • Greet at a door, give tours, and assist guests. If you want to make sure everyone feels at home here, this team is for you!

  • This is a great opportunity to meet new people, give a warm welcome, and pass out the bulletins at one or more services per month. Other duties include collecting the tithes and offerings.

  • Mingle with all of our guests and assist them with WC Live, provide information regarding serving opportunities, offer assistance with website questions, and register them for events or classes. Can also include serving in the Bookstore or Coffee Bar.

  • If you have the appropriate training, help us on Sunday mornings as we strive to maintain a safe environment for all of our guests.

  • If you work or have significant training in the medical field and want to make sure Woods Chapel stays safe and healthy, we could use your help.
